A bit about the role
We are now looking for a Group Risk Partner to work closely with Group Risk Manager to execute the risk management strategy
You will support the development and promotion of the risk framework as it evolves to meet business needs and keep pace with best practice.
- Supporting the facilitation of the identification, capture, reporting and management of emerging risks across the Group
- Ensure risk owners/managers are actively involved in identifying, assessing and controlling risks
- Continually look to improve and enhance risk reporting embedding the process into departments
- Perpetual auditing/verification of the risk controls
- Support on Internal Audits linked to the company risk register and key regulatory work
- Conduct frequent horizon scanning to remain abreast of the ever changing risk environment
- Act as a point of expert guidance to the wider business on risk related matters
- You will supply Independent review & challenge of risk registers to ensure all material risks have been identified and managed according to risk appetite and tolerance
A bit about you
- Minimum 5 years experience working at a mid - senior level within a risk role or equivalent
Expert knowledge of risk management
Must be able to act on own initiative, operate at a senior level and work collaboratively with key stakeholders.
Logical/detailed approach required with an ability to see tasks through to a conclusion and work to targets/measures.
