About the role and our team
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Health Care Assistant to join our Women & Children’s Service!
Your daily tasks will include providing meals to patients, carrying out and recording basic observations and transferring patients around the hospital.
Your excellent interpersonal skills will enable you to communicate accurately and concisely with patients and their family and friends, as well as establish respectful and professional relationships with your colleagues.
Previous experience of providing care for people would be an advantage but isn’t essential, however you must be proactive and dedicated to delivering a high quality health care service.
You will join a small and committed multi-disciplinary team who are dedicated to women’s health. If you are a strong team player, take great pride in your work and are willing to learn and develop, then this could be the perfect role for you!
What can this role offer me?
Within this role, there are plenty of development opportunities from completing qualifications such as NVQ in Health and Social Care, to attending relevant training courses to help you excel in your role.
You will have the chance to work in both outpatient and inpatient settings, so this role will allow you to develop your skills in both areas and provide you with varied duties.
You can also take advantage of the excellent opportunities we provide for personal and professional development! This includes the use of our Learning, Education and Development Centre and the fantastic range of fully funded courses we support.
