Your role as a Group Property Asset Manager, working in our Group Transformation & Development team will be to facilitate and support the global property Investment & Asset Management best practices across the Kingfisher Group. You’ll be working alongside our banner teams and offices, across the globe to help advise on property projects, providing a level of governance and building cases.

What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting the development guidance and best practice for Property & Asset Management at Kingfisher
- Working on applying long-term thinking and vision in our approach to developing and leading our property assets with the vital financial controls and reporting in place
- To support the business with property expertise on non-retail property in Group functions
- Own the delivery and development of a common data platform to ensure it is relevant for all partners, provides effective solutions and has high levels of data integrity
- Co-ordinate the timely generation of the Property elements any consolidated corporate reporting such as Annual Valuations or HY/YE results reporting
- To work with the local Country Property implement global property plans with a specific focus on Lease regears, store closures, sale & Leasebacks and non-operational disposals
- Supporting banners with cases and the GIC (Group Investment Committee) with relevant expert review of associated business case
- Support Country Asset Management teams to meet and exceed budgets and savings targets
What experience you’ll bring:
- You’ll be a great communicator, being able to build rapport, value differences in opinions
- Project management techniques or experience in handling property projects
- Strong property asset and investment management experience
- Ability to use commercial judgment and experience to balance risk, resolve conflicts of interest and make tough decisions to support long term business benefit.
- Either Qualified RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) or proven experience is desired

This person will be UK based with our Head Office in Paddington, or we could explore the option of being based in one of our other retail banners head offices in Southampton or Yeovil.
