Job description
Job Purpose:
To create Purchase Orders for IT department, process invoice queries and ensure that IT spend is controlled. Provide regular reporting and updates to IT Leads across Group IT and provide detailed spend analysis when required.
Please note that this is 12 month fixed term position.
Key Accountabilities:
- Work with IT teams to understand the business requirements and raise and manage Purchase Orders in Oracle
- Process invoices from 3rd parties and work with Finance teams make sure they are paid accurately and in a timely manner
- Monitor monthly spend against the budgets and produce reports as required
- Control costs within the IT department – escalate any non planned spend and overspends
- Assist IT Finance Analyst with ad hoc projects and tasks on day to day basis, including spend analysis and projections
Key Skills:
- AAT qualified or equivalent experience within a finance role is an advantage
- Good level of Microsoft packages, including Word and Excel
- Excellent research, problem solving skills
- Creative with the ability to prioritize key tasks
- Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously while adhering to deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills, including ability to work independently yet effectively in a team environment
