The Faculty of Theology and Religion is seeking to appoint a Departmental Lecturer in Historical and Systematic Theology to cover primarily the teaching duties of Prof Zachhuber while he is on research leave. This is a full-time, 8-month fixed-term post from 1 September 2023.
About the role
This position offers a highly promising scholar the opportunity to develop their career through teaching, research and collaborative work in historical and systematic Theology and associated fields. You will play an active role in teaching the Faculty’s existing undergraduate and graduate courses, and provide tutorial teaching for Trinity College. You will become part of a vibrant research environment in both the Faculty and Trinity College. You will have access to a Faculty research allowance.
About you
You will hold, or be close to completion of, a postgraduate qualification (which would normally be a doctorate) in a relevant area of historical and systematic Theology, with evidence of an aptitude for teaching and some experience of teaching and research.
