Over the last 35 years, The CGM Group has grown into the region’s leading Grounds Maintenance company. We provide a wide and varied range of services including Grounds Maintenance, Horticulture, Arboriculture, and Landscaping, to both the public and private sector clients.
We are looking to recruit Grounds Maintenance Operatives for our Corby depot. You will be achieving high standards for maintenance across the site.
**Immediate start available**
This role is being offered on a full-time basis. We have Seasonal and Permanent contracts available. Hours of work are: 7 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday.
What you'll be doing...
To operate a range of commercial equipment including ride-on mowers, strimmer's, hedge cutters, and line marking equipment
To ensure all machinery, equipment and vehicles are well maintained at all times
Ensuring all machinery, equipment, and vehicles used are clean, present, safely stored, free from rubbish, and fit for purpose.
Initial marking out of sports pitches
Over marking of sports pitches
Mowing grass areas
Strimming
Pruning shrubs and hedges with mechanical and hand-operated equipment.
Weeding
Leaf collecting
Edging
Digging/forking of beds and borders
Deadheading of flowers
Planting new areas
Soil preparation
Fertiliser spreading
- A driving license is essential
- PA1 and PA6 would be desirable.
