Plant Designs are London’s foremost design-led plant experts, providing quality service to workplaces and events.

We design, install, and care for some of the city’s most innovative plant displays, working with over 350 clients to bring the benefits of planting to their buildings. We pride ourselves on our award-winning plant displays and our ability, through the commitment and experience of our team, to care for them.

As a company, we are made up of three departments: Commercial/Office planting, Retail, and Events. The team works together across these areas to provide our clients with a quality and broad-ranging horticultural service.

The Role:

We are looking to fill a freelance part-time role, which supports our Sales and Marketing teams by producing quotations as well as covering administration tasks.

Our ideal candidate will be someone who has an eye for design, experience with Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Office suite and good written English.

Objectives & Responsibilities:

  • Produce quotations from instructions and templates provided, that communicate the design ideas and quality of service to clients.
  • Create photo composites using photoshop.
  • Build mood boards for plant, event, and Christmas quotations in PowerPoint/Canva from instructions given by the Sales team.
  • Digital filing of documents.
  • Using in-house software system and processes to produce quotations.
  • Work with Marketing team to support on admin tasks.

Candidate skills and experience:

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, time management and organizational skills.
  • Photoshop skills to an intermediate level.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, namely PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Good written English.
  • A quick learner who can work both independently and in a team.
  • Ability to multitask and take initiative.
  • Personable and professional.
  • A creative eye for design and detail.
  • Although not essential, some experience with graphic design is preferrable.
  • Full training will be provided on our systems and processes.

This is a part-time role of 2 days per week with some flexibility on days worked. Hours are 8.30-5.00 with some extra hours during busy periods and holiday cover. You’ll be working with other members of the Graphics and Marketing Team and supporting the Sales Team.

Based in Central London, working at our Farringdon office/showroom. Salary is £15ph, working on a self-employed basis.
