Graphic Designer (BPO) Remote
Job description
We are looking for a Graphic Designer to join our new Marketing and Communications Team.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Communications, the successful candidate will play a key part in shaping and executing how we develop our brand, both externally and internally.
The role:
We see graphic design as visual storytelling that engages, informs, and inspires. We're looking for a talented graphic designer who can take concepts and ideas and create visual representations, in both print and electronic media.
The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of current design software and be skilled in every step of the design process, from concept to final delivery. Collaborating with multiple teams across the company, the Graphic Designer should be able to take written or spoken ideas and convert them into a design that connects.
The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of branding and marketing and be able to find the right style and layout for every project.
Key duties include:
- Work on a wide range of projects and media, using software to visualise and develop innovative graphic designs that meet our business goals.
- Developing design concepts, layouts, and graphics that meet project objectives and requirements.
- Collaborating with internal and external clients or team members to understand their design needs and requirements.
- Working with external agencies to ensure consistency of design across all platforms.
- Creating and editing digital images and graphics using software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Preparing design files for print or digital publication, ensuring they are in the correct format and resolution.
- Update and maintain internal databases for designs, photography, and video.
- Staying up to date with current design trends, tools, and techniques.
Education and Experience:
- Relevant degree/academic background in graphic design and/or marketing and communications
- 2-3 years minimum marketing experience in the commercial sector.
- Experience in design for print, including large formats like display stands and livery.
- Experience in design for web and social media.
- Professional knowledge in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and/or other design software for producing event stands, slide decks, and other related Marketing assets.
- Desirable: Knowledge of and ability to operate camera equipment, such as a DSLR, for capturing images and film
- Desirable: Video editing software skills, such as Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
