Graphic Designer Intern (Paid Internship) - 12 Month Placement
LOCATION: Slough, 270 Bath Road
WORKING ARRANGEMENT: Flexible - 25% office / 75% home on average (with the option to work in the office more regularly if you wish)
START DATE: September 2023

Position Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic, organized individual, who will be proactive and look to identify opportunities to streamline processes and work cross-functionally with the business and GCX teams to develop and deliver best-in-class graphic solutions for packaging and other production-based materials. This person will have a super high accuracy and attention to detail whilst working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Contribute to the ideation & creation of logos/icons, messaging, packaging, merchandising and various marketing collateral
Working with Photoshop layers, colour schemes, colour correction, fonts, and clipping paths
Working with Illustrator paths, masks, layers, colours, fonts, and die-lines
Monitor and track iterations and reviews for approvals
Proof and perform quality control on your work in detail
Interact with people at all levels across SBD internally, globally, along with external vendors
Stay connected with marketing and design trends, including competitive and retail or B2B environment
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Second Year Bachelor University Student seeking a placement opportunity and intending to return to full education after the placement
Studying Graphic Design or comparable bachelor's degree and have achieved at least 2:1 to date
Able to commute to our Slough office (270 Bath Road) - although we have a very flexible working arrangement, we do require our interns to be able to commute to our offices for collaboration purposes, team meetings, events, etc.
Proficiency in applicable MAC software (Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office)
Excellent design and layout skills
Experience managing and tracking tasks in Workfront/work flow management platforms is a plus
Excellent time-management, and project management skills with ability to manage multiple projects
Portfolio with relevant work experience and examples
Demonstrate the ability to work under pressure and track details of multiple projects
