SpiceBox Product Development is an industry leader in producing high quality activity kits, innovative children's books, stationery and premium gift sets for kids and adults. We are currently looking for experienced Graphic Designers / Creative Individuals to join the Creative Department.
The successful candidates for this position will join a dynamic team of creatives and collaborators at our Richmond head office. Working with other members of the Creative team he or she will be designing/creating for an array of new product, social media campaigns and sales materials. They will have graduated from a post-secondary institution with a diploma / degree in communication design or graphic design. Finally, the successful candidates will have several years of experience working in the design field with a portfolio of work that demonstrates outstanding typography and engaging visual design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Multi-page layout design / Packaging design
- preparing press-ready files for print production
- Product photography / image editing / retouching
- Designing assets for WEBSITE and SOCIAL MEDIA platforms
- Designing sales and marketing materials
- Contributing ideas and concepts in the development of new products
- Creating mockups and sales samples
Required Attributes:
- Experience with print production, packaging, and multi-page documents
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite applications in a Mac environment
- Superior visual design capabilities
- Ability to communicate ideas and adapt ideas based on critiques
- Excellent communicator and collaborator with strong interpersonal, problem-solving and project management skills
- Ability to work well independently but be able to work in a team environment with a willingness to learn
- Detail oriented and well organized
- Must be legally able to work in Canada, and on-site at our Richmond office

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
