Slayden Constructors Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of MWH Constructors, an industry-leading constructor of water and wastewater facilities, is seeking a Marketing Coordinator/Graphic Design to support our Business Development, Marketing, and Proposal Teams. This position can be based out of Portland or Salem office.

This position will collaborate with proposal managers and senior leadership to create impactful and professional layouts, templates, and graphics for statements of qualification (SOQs), proposals, interview slide decks, and other print/digital marketing materials. The role will report to the Proposal Manager and will support the business development department (proposals, interviews, one-pages, etc.). as well as the marketing efforts (website, social media, event/internal materials, etc.). The qualified candidate must be able to multitask; appropriately allocate time to tasks; thrive in a collaborative environment; and contribute creative ideas to develop a variety of content.

Essential Functions

• Assist in the development and coordination of proposals, ensuring accuracy, branding, compliance, clarity, and consistency.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and materials for proposals and other marketing media.

• Create and prepare graphics, images, and other visual elements for layouts for proposals and marketing materials.

• Oversee production of printed materials to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Work closely with presentation teams to create graphics, images, and other visual elements for PowerPoint presentations, display boards, and other collateral as needed.
• Work alongside the marketing team to develop, maintain, and improve Slayden’s digital and social media presence by creating engaging content and supporting marketing efforts.
• Develop and manage content for advertisements as needed.
• Maintain a database of proposal templates, case studies, photos, graphics, and other marketing collateral.
• Support conference and tradeshow participation and sponsorships, including designing, ordering, and managing content for booths, pop-ups, boards, posters, presentations, collateral, promotional giveaways, etc.
• Support project and company award submittals, including content and graphic development to meet required deadlines.

Basic Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience producing document layouts, templates, marketing materials, and graphics using Adobe Creative Cloud products and Microsoft Office.
• A 4-year degree in graphic design, visual communication, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Expert in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Expert in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, PowerBI, etc.)
