Thales has an established early careers offering for graduates and apprentices; making up over 5% of the UK workforce.
At any one time we employ around 400 Early Careers Members across the UK business, with brilliant opportunities across each of the main UK sites. Programmes vary in length, and range between levels 2 and 6, with degree apprenticeships also available. We have various sites throughout the UK including Belfast, Cheadle, Crawley, Doncaster, Ebbw Vale, Glasgow, Reading, Portsmouth, Templecombe.
Our programmes ensure you will be supported by and working alongside industry experts, gaining a wealth of experience, developing a variety of skills for your future at Thales, whilst you earn.
We have apprenticeships available in the following areas -
Engineering (Software, Hardware, Systems, Electrical & Mechanical, Cyber Security)
Industry (Manufacturing, Field Services)
Business (Project Planning, Data Analysis, Business Analysis, Project Management, Procurement)
All of our programmes lead to full-time permanent roles upon completion within the relevant job family. Please note, all offers of employment are subject to having the full-time right to work in the UK and being able to attain full Security Clearance (SC) in line with United Kingdom Security Vetting (UKSV) requirements.
In line with Thales' Baseline Security requirements, candidates will be asked to provide evidence of identity, eligibility to work in the UK and employment and/or education history for up to three years. Some vacancies may require full Security Clearance which can require further evidence to be provided. For further details of the evidence required to apply for Baseline and Security Clearance please refer to the Defence Business Services National Security Vetting (DBS NSV) Agency.
