We are looking to hire an experienced Graphic Designer to work alongside our Product Development department in Essex in the UK. The successful candidate will be able to work as part of a team, in a fast moving and creative environment to provide graphics and develop branding and packaging to suit new products brought to market.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Study product and packaging design briefs and determine requirements
• Conceptualize visuals based on design briefs
• Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
• Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand
• Work with Copywriters and Product Development for content and direction
• Work within established brand guidelines
• Develop concepts for longer term brand expansion and diversification
• Creation of other product related design work, from instructions to hangtags and display material

Qualifications Required

• Proven graphic design experience
• A strong portfolio of illustration or other graphics work
• Familiarity with current design software packages (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop)
• A keen eye for aesthetics and details
• Excellent communication skills
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Self-motivation and the ability to work to strict deadlines
• A UK driving licence or ability to commute to a permanent place of work is required.
