Position Overview:
MCC is seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our growing marketing team. As a Graphic Designer and Social Media Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our internal and external communication efforts. Your responsibilities will include designing a wide range of digital and traditional communication collateral that reflects the MCC brand, such as emails, web pages, flyers, and other digital assets. Additionally, you will create content-driven materials, animations and videos to support our global communication initiatives.
Working closely with our dedicated marketing team, you will collaborate on various projects, including social media posts, engaging LinkedIn videos, visually captivating website graphics, and more. Your role will involve generating innovative ideas, providing creative digital solutions, and executing approved concepts to enhance our brand presence.

Responsibilities:
  • Create visually appealing materials that effectively represent the MCC brand, leveraging innovative ideas and maintaining a consistent look and feel. Deliver materials within the agreed timeframe set by the Digital Marketing Director.
  • Utilize design tools such as Canva, Final Cut Pro, and other industry-standard software to develop high-quality marketing materials that captivate our target audience.
  • Organize and manage marketing collateral efficiently, ensuring easy accessibility for the team and stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute effective marketing campaigns using HubSpot.
  • Stay up to date with the latest design techniques and industry trends to ensure our visual communication remains fresh and impactful.
  • Enhance the visual appeal of images used in various assets and on our website through expert editing skills.
  • Translate abstract concepts into compelling visuals and motion graphics that effectively convey our messaging.
  • Edit webinar recordings and in-person videos to create engaging and visually appealing content that aligns with our brand standards.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and consistently meet deadlines, ensuring smooth project flow.
  • Assist with special projects as assigned, contributing your expertise and creative flair to achieve desired outcomes.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of graphic design experience, ideally in a marketing or communications role.
  • Experience in creating compelling email designs and implementing successful email marketing campaigns.
  • Some college education preferred, with relevant courses in marketing and/or graphic design, showcasing your understanding of design principles.
  • Thorough knowledge of typography, iconography, layout, color theory, and other graphic design principles, enabling you to create visually cohesive and appealing materials.
  • Proficient in industry-standard design software and tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Final Cut Pro, and HubSpot.)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills, methodical work approach, and the ability to prioritize tasks to consistently meet deadlines.
  • Photo editing skills are a plus, providing an added advantage in enhancing visual assets.
  • Familiarity with project management software like Monday.com is preferred, facilitating efficient project coordination and task management.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with global teams across different time zones, leveraging excellent interpersonal skills to build productive relationships.
  • Self-motivated and driven to produce high-quality work, demonstrating a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence.

Experience:
  • Graphic design: 2 years (Required)
  • Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and/or Canva: 1 year (Required)
  • HubSpot: 1 year (Preferred)
    • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint): Required
