Our London-based deign studio has an opportunity for an eager designer with a flair for presentation design to join our in-house Studio team. We’re looking for someone with solid experience working in a business-to-business setting, who can get their head around some complex healthcare-related content, and who enjoys creative data visualisation and concept development. We are a global healthcare consultancy business that provides comprehensive solutions and strategic guidance to the healthcare industry. Our in-house design studio plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality visual assets, branding materials, and design solutions to support our clients' communication needs. We are currently seeking a talented Mid-Weight Graphic Designer to join our team on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave.
As a mid-weight Power Point Designer, you’ll need brains and creative muscle in equal measures. You’ll be working with our research and consultant teams and getting to grips with scientific and health-related content across a broad range of materials including pitches, proposals, objection handlers, sales aids, detailed reports, brand plans and playbooks. Your design recommendations be will crucial in creating clear, polished, and impactful presentations that inform, impress and inspire. But it’s not all about PowerPoint… As part of a friendly multi-disciplinary design team, you’ll also get some variety working on other design projects involving different formats.
Responsibilities include:
Collaborating closely with other designers, cross-functional teams, internal and external clients, to deliver jobs within brief and on time
Developing creative solutions for presentations that effectively deliver complex information in digestible ways
Working autonomously on several projects simultaneously, communicating status, managing deadlines, and prioritizing tasks effectively
Navigating brand guidelines for various clients, ensuring consistency and managing your own quality control
Bringing your experience, creative ideas and problem-solving skills to provide relevant and valuable input on all the projects that you’re involved with
- Staying up to date with industry trends, design techniques, and emerging technologies to bring fresh ideas and best practices to excite the team
3 years of professional experience in a Designer or Presentation Designer role, within a B2B (business-to-business) environment
A strong portfolio including relevant examples of presentation design, as well as other work in a variety of formats that demonstrate creativity and polish
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Microsoft PowerPoint
Be a whizz at both surface level PowerPoint design and ‘under the bonnet’ presentation set-up
Ability to develop infographics, data visualizations, animation, and interactive navigation within presentations
Solid understanding of design principles, typography, hierarchy, layout, color theory, and visual signposting
Some broader graphic design experience with other formats including digital, print and multimedia
