Graphic Designer
We are a dynamic production company working in Legacy media as well as new Media. We are expanding to include the newly created position of Design Lead. We are looking for a Graphic Designer to join our team and help create amazing user experiences. The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and artful design for a variety of applications from Pitch Decks, Websites, Newsletter, Posters and Promotional materials.
The successful candidate will be able to translate high-level requirements into beautiful, intuitive, and functional designs.
Responsibilities:
- Study design briefs and determine requirements
- Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
- Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand
- Develop pitch packages, treatments, requests for proposals, etc.
- Choose the appropriate colors, fonts and layouts for each graphic
- Test layouts across various media
- Amend designs after feedback
Requirements and skills
- Proven graphic designing experience
- Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio of illustrations/graphics
- Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, HTML is a plus)
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas
- A keen eye for aesthetics and details
- Excellent communication and visual design skills
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
- Ability to work as part of a team, to work methodically and meet deadlines
- Basic video editing (Adobe Premiere is a plus)
- Maintenance of an online clip library
- Familiarity/Interest in animation
- Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field is a plus
This is a full time in-office position.
Salary 60,000 per year
