Havas M&C are a specialist market access agency – we create campaigns and materials to ensure that medicines which can have life changing effects are funded and available for patients who need them. Our work is to demonstrate the value of medicines using sometimes complex scientific data, presented in a compelling way to decision makers who work in a complex and changing health service with little funding available.
You will work on a variety of pharmaceutical and healthcare products, from medicines for very rare diseases, through to medicines for cancer or more common yet high impact conditions such as diabetes or Parkinson’s disease. We produce a range of materials to support decision makers in assessing the value of these medicines; including interactive pdf and ePub presentations, leaflets, posters, brochures, training manuals, Word and PowerPoint documents. A good understanding of branding guidelines as many of our clients’ have specific elements that all designs must strictly adhere to. The goal is to get the clients’ message across in a compelling way, whilst ensuring accuracy from copy to artwork.
- Working with a wide range of media using the latest graphic design software
- Using creativity and flair to design unique and appealing concepts, graphics and layouts
- Amend final designs to clients’ comments and gain full approval
- Work as part of a team with the consultants and discuss options for brand messaging, images, and style
- Communicating back and forth by sending proofs and making any requested changes
- Aiding in the print process for printed materials
- Acting as liaison between printers and consultants to make sure all needs are met
- Work closely with the Mid Weight Graphic Designer who leads the virtual ‘studio’
- Proven graphic designing experience in an agency, ideally a health focused agency
- Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originality
- Solid experience of digital design
- In-tune with current design trends including in digital
- Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
- Ability to interact, communicate and present ideas
- Up to date with industry leading software and technologies (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop etc)
- Highly competent with PC (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Highly proficient in all design aspects
- Professionalism regarding time, costs and deadlines
- Ability to take constructive criticism and make changes
- Good customer service skills with internal stakeholders and a strong work ethic
- Self-starter with the ability to work independentlyperm
