We are seeking a new graphic designer to join our team. You will be designing a wide variety of things across digital and offline media. To be successful in this position, you’ll be a self-starter, capable of delivering brilliant creative ideas, and show amazing attention to detail. training will be provided for the ideal candidate.
Responsibilities
- Creating a wide range of graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and websites with software such as photoshop.
- Planning concepts by studying relevant information and materials.
- Illustrating concepts by designing examples of art arrangement, size, type size and style and submitting them for approval.
- Communicating with clients about layout and design.
- Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements when necessary.
- Preparing finished art by operating necessary equipment and software.
- Print production including finishing, binding and packing
- Dealing with new and existing clients on the phone by e-mail and faceto face
- Prepare print jobs for production, including reviewing files for accuracy and making necessary adjustments
- oversee the production of print jobs, ensuring quality control at every stage
Key requirements:
- Knowledge of Graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite) and print production would be beneficial
- Previous experience of working in the printing industry would be advantageous
- Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
- Proficiency with required desktop publishing tools, including Photoshop, InDesign Quark, and Illustrator.
- A strong eye for visual composition.
- Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Able to give and receive constructive criticism.
- Experience with computer-aided design.
- The ability to work closely with and upsell to new and existing clients
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £26,600.00-£27,000.00 per year
