Working at our Folkestone HQ, you will lead an in-house creative team to respond to marketing, packaging and design needs generated by the wider business. Driven and innovative, you and your team will be responsible for upholding and developing the Bigjigs® brands through product design, packaging solutions, online and offline marketing, exhibitions stand design and photography.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead your team by directing, planning and scheduling briefs for creative team members with all aspects of design for packaging, sales & marketing.
- Drive creative projects from start to finish ensuring timely delivery
- Liaise with other department heads and the Directors to develop and maintain processes for bringing new products to market
- Plan, direct and oversee all packaging requirements, graphic design work, marketing output (including catalogue production), photography and exhibition graphic production
- Manage and motivate your team to work collaboratively in order to hit deadlines and generate great results across all creative aspects of the business
- Liaise with print contacts to arrange all printed material on budget
- Support the individuals within your team to develop and progress their skills
- Creating/laying out emails and maintain website imagery
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Degree or similar qualification in graphics/marketing
- 5 + years in a design and marketing position
- Management/Project Management Experience
- Good understanding of Adobe Creative Suite software (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign etc.)
- Knowledge of preparing artwork for print and online use
- Knowledge of placing print production
- Accurate proof checking
- Experience liaising with factories in the Far East

Hours: 8.00-16:30 Monday to Friday.
