Looking for a new career in Sales?!
Intercounty Truck & Van are looking for someone who has the passion and ability to learn and work in truck sales, but do you need Truck sales experience? No, you don’t!
While having some automotive knowledge or experience will obviously help, we want someone with the right attitude and excellent communication skills, who displays a passion for joining the brand and selling trucks. We will consider candidates with a good educational background - ideally but not necessarily a graduate, who has some customer service, sales or retail experience.
To support you, we will be doing something different. We are offering a 2 year sales training program which will involve attending the dedicated Mercedes Benz Truck Sales training centre as well as attending in-house training with Intercounty Truck & Van.
Over the first 12-months, you will undertake all the manufacturer training courses relevant to the role and gain thorough understanding of all aspects of our business, from parts, service and aftersales to marketing and support services before venturing out to sell your first truck. Upon completion of the program, you will become part of our highly successful truck sales team, building and developing your own client base and starting out on your career in commercial vehicle sales.
Trucks can be quite a complex vehicle and there are various technical items to consider when putting the spec together for a customer, so this a consultative selling role and is quite different from car sales.
We want people who will support and delight our customers, whilst building a successful career, selling the premium range of Mercedes Benz Trucks.
First stage interviews will be held through August We are looking to appoint the successful candidate to start by 1st October ready for the new Mercedes Benz trainee sales training course in December.
If you think a career in truck sales could be for you, please send your CV with a brief supporting statement telling us why you think you would be successful in this industry.
We look forward to receiving your application!
