Due to continued success and future business growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a Graphic Designer to join our Group Marketing team based at our head office in Barlborough, Chesterfield.
On offer is a competitive salary of up to £28,000 dependent upon experience, a performance related bonus and a wide range of benefits.
The Role
Are you an experienced Graphic Designer with a creative flair and talent for designing a range of creative assets? Do you have an advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite? Reporting to the Group Marketing Manager, the successful Graphic Designer will be responsible for designing and communicating marketing collateral that informs, inspires and captivates our external audiences, including prospective buyers, those on the buying journey and those already living in an Avant home.
Key duties and requirements
You will also be responsible for but not limited to;
- Designing a range of creative assets using Adobe Creative Suite such as social posts, website pages and graphics, signage, printed collateral including brochures, leaflets, posters, PowerPoints and reports.
- Creating visual identities for seasonal and tactical marketing campaigns.
- Providing support with developing the brand guidelines and Avant visual identity.
- Ensuring the right templates are available for colleagues to create their own branded documentation with ease.
- Actively monitoring competitor and industry leaders’ design outputs and branding.
- Capturing company photography and retouching photography when required.
- Creating animated graphics and GIFs when required.
- Assisting with presentations for various company stakeholders.
- Providing support for the marketing team on all creative concepts, such as website design.
Who are we looking for?
The successful candidate will be used to working in a fast-paced yet organised and methodical environment, whilst also providing support with leading the look and feel of the brand, working on marketing campaigns and ensuring the Avant brand is represented on-brand at all times.
Previous experience of working within similar role for a housebuilder or marketing agency would be highly desirable.
To be considered for this role you must also possess:
- A Batchelors degree in Graphic Design or a similar related subject.
- A minimum of 3 years graphic design experience.
- Experience working with various stakeholders and as part of a busy marketing team.
- Creative flare and talent for visuals.
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong portfolio and a passion for design.
- Good project management and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A Passion for branding.
