REPORTS TO: Head of Design

SUMMARY

MetaWin is seeking a highly creative and talented Graphic Designer to join our Design team. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their design skills and ability to work on a variety of projects. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating visually appealing designs and concepts that are inspiring, captivating and that communicate our brand message effectively.

We are passionate about NFTs. We have owned and traded collections including BAYC, MAYC, Doodles, Azukis, Moonbirds and other blue chips. Our founders are also tech investors and committed to the space with private holdings in companies such as Consensys (MetaMask).

We are experienced executives used to building startups and have a digital advertising and gaming background, generating multi-billions in revenue over a twenty year period.

Our goal is to combine our business knowledge and digital advertising expertise with ideas around smart contracts and blockchain technology. We are building cool, fun products which provide real utility to our end users.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Designing marketing for digital ads, social media publications, on-site graphics, mockups and email graphics.
  • Creating visual concepts, layouts, and graphic designs for our website and social media platforms.
  • Collaborating with the design & marketing team to develop new design concepts and campaigns.
  • Presenting design concepts to the team and incorporating feedback to create final designs.
  • Prioritizing & managing multiple projects within design specifications & brand guidelines.
  • Managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Ensure projects are completed with high quality.
  • Ensuring brand consistency across all designs.
  • Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of design trends, techniques and systems.

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in graphic design.
  • Advanced knowledge of graphic fundamentals for digital ads, website and social media platforms.
  • Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing design skills.
  • Must be proficient in Figma.
  • Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other graphic design software).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and clearly with all stakeholders.

TIMELINE FOR SUCCESS

30 Days:

  • Get to know the company: Spend time getting to know the company & culture. Learn about the company's core values, short & long-term goals, vision, mission and how your role fits into the larger picture.
  • Understand your role: Make sure you understand your job description and responsibilities. Clarify any questions you have with your manager..
  • Learn the software & tools we use: If you haven't already had experience in any software or tools we use, familiarize & train on them. Practice using them regularly to build your skills.
  • Get to know our teams: Introduce yourself to all of our company teams and specifically the teams you will work with mostly in your role. Understand their roles, how they work with design, and how you can collaborate effectively.
  • Feedback: Be open to feedback from your manager on your work and how you can improve. Additionally, provide feedback to your manager on areas where you may need more training, etc.

60 Days:

  • Start contributing: Start contributing to projects and creating designs. Make sure you're meeting deadlines and producing high-quality work.
  • Collaborate effectively: Collaborate often with other teams in the company to understand their design needs and how you can best support them.
  • Feedback: Continue to be open to feedback from your manager and to provide your manager with feedback.

90 Days:

  • Take ownership: Take ownership of your role and responsibilities. Show initiative by taking on new challenges and projects.
  • Develop your skills: Identify areas where you can improve your skills and seek out opportunities for professional development.
  • Contribute to the team: Contribute to the success of the team by sharing your expertise and collaborating effectively.
  • Build relationships: Build relationships with your team and other teams in the company.
  • Evaluate your progress: Evaluate your progress and set new goals for your continued growth and success as a graphic designer.
  • Ongoing feedback: Understand that ongoing and consistent feedback between you and your manager and other team members will be crucial for growth and success from this point forward.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £40,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
