The role
We want our clients to think that Mobsta are really easy to do business with. Once they hand over their campaigns, they can wholeheartedly trust that they will be executed seamlessly whilst performing against KPIs. As a Design Intern at Mobsta, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our creative team and gain hands-on experience in the field of graphic design within the Adtech industry. You will be responsible for supporting the development, execution and evolution of visually compelling and effective design solutions for our clients' digital advertising campaigns. Duties will be varied and rewarding; these are some of the key responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualise and create engaging visual assets, including static and animated banners, rich media ads and other marketing collateral.
- Assist in the design and production of multimedia content, such as videos and interactive presentations, to enhance the overall impact of digital campaigns.
- Help maintain and update the company's visual identity guidelines, ensuring consistency across various marketing channels and materials.
- Support the team in conducting research on industry trends, competitor analysis, and user experience best practices to inform design decisions.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, objectives, and deadlines, and deliver high-quality design deliverables within established timelines.
- Assist in the optimization and modification of existing design assets to align with evolving campaign needs and client feedback.
- Stay updated on the latest design tools, software, and industry trends, and share knowledge and insights with the team to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions and provide creative input to generate fresh and innovative design ideas that align with client objectives.
- Help to grow business through creation of proactive creative examples for target brands.
- Help to upskill those within the team who don’t have the same experience on creative design software.
Qualifications
- Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design software.
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, and composition.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web design principles.
- Familiarity with motion graphics and video editing tools (e.g., After Effects, Premiere Pro) is a plus.
- Excellent creativity and the ability to think outside the box to create visually compelling designs.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality work within deadlines.
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- A strong portfolio that demonstrates a range of design skills and an understanding of digital advertising
DURATION AND COMPENSATION
This is a 6 months internship position. The intern will work 5 days a week Monday-Friday on a paid basis. Additionally, the intern will have the opportunity to gain invaluable industry experience, develop their design skills, and build professional network within the Adtech field. If successful, this can lead to a permanent position.
