Are you looking for a new and crucial role within a well-established and forward-thinking global organisation? We have an excellent opportunity for a graduate to join Servomex as a Verification and Validation (V&V) Engineer, based at our UK Technical Centre in Crowborough, East Sussex.
Our Industrial Process and Emissions (IP&E) business unit is responsible for our gas analysis solutions in the power generation, hydrocarbon processing and emissions monitoring markets.
About the Opportunity:
- Supporting the complete testing life cycle and taking ownership for the testing of specific features
- Writing the test cases and ensure adequate test coverage
- Collaborate with other stakeholders and actively participate in group meetings
- Assisting team in functional, performance & environmental testing for a range of gas sensing products
- Defect reporting and tracking
- Assisting in health and safety at work activates and following them
- Work closely with the V&V team and support the V&V activities
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- A degree (or equivalent) in a subject such as: Chemical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, Instrumentation, Data Analytics or closely related discipline
- An interest/knowledge in spectroscopy, chromatography and infrared technologies
- A team player who can work well within a multi-disciplinary team
- Excellent communication skills and an analytical mindset
- Attention to detail to identify issues
- Demonstrable interest and desire to work in technology
Location: Crowborough, East Sussex, UK
(Hybrid working will be considered for the suitable candidate - with a minimum of three days onsite)
