About the role and our team

The University College Isle of Man (UCM) are looking for a passionate part time Hairdressing, Beauty Therapy and Sports Technician to join our friendly, supportive team in The Faculty of Creative and Leisure Industries.

Within this role, you will assist specialist lecturing staff to deliver high quality teaching, learning and assessment on a range of further and higher education courses.

Day to day, some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Dispensing stock to staff and students and taking responsibility for stock control, equipment and pricing levels
  • Undertaking the role of Synnova receptionist
  • Completing relevant banking procedures
  • Assisting teaching staff to maintain the smooth running of the hairdressing, beauty and sports area
