ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a hands-on role, which represents a fantastic opportunity for someone seeking to obtain professional qualifications whilst being an integral part of a growing team.

Over a three-year Level 7 apprenticeship you will work towards completing the globally recognised
Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) qualification. We cover the costs of your courses and examinations. You also receive paid classroom study, study leave, and exam leave. Alongside study you will gain practical experience from day one.

Working closely with the existing VAT team, you can expect to be involved in:

  • Preparing VAT returns
  • VAT registrations and deregistrations
  • Helping with HMRC enquiries
  • Dealing with queries from clients
  • Helping with client on-boarding and billing

We are a full-service accountancy practice and so there is scope to become involved in:

  • Working on tax reporting, compliance and advisory services for personal tax, corporation tax and the

Construction Industry Scheme

  • Preparing statutory accounts

ABOUT YOU

Qualifications

  • A 2:2 degree or above in any discipline (actual or predicted)
  • GCSE Maths, grade 5 or above
  • GCSE English Language, grade 5 or above

  • Happy juggling multiple tasks and working to deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Strong attention to detail

WORKING HOURS

Full-time working hours are 37.5 hours per week, excluding meal breaks. Part-time and family friendly working hours, which are flexible across the week, are offered.
