As the largest local authority in the UK, the Property Services team manage a commercial property portfolio comprising around 6,500 individual interests. Birmingham City Council's Property Strategy outlines a clear mission statement to utilise the Council’s land and property assets to stimulate economic activity, attract investment and to create income to support service delivery and provide frontline services to the citizens of Birmingham.
Working within the Investment Property Management team, successful applicants will be joining an established and multi-disciplined team which provides a wide range of professional services and a varied range of experience for Graduate Surveyors embarking upon their APC. A successful, established and structured APC training programme is offered to support candidates through to professional qualification.
With a remit to deliver the objectives of a new Property Investment Strategy which will transform the existing portfolio, the role offers applicants the opportunity to join the team at a really exciting time. Spread across a number of teams delivering day to day estate management, Landlord and Tenant work, commercial lettings, property development and strategic asset management, successful applicants will be given the opportunity to gain varied and wide ranging experience as part of their professional development.
