Full Job Description - Graduate Software Engineer
An excellent opportunity in a growing technology company with worldwide blue-chip customers. Lithe are seeking Graduate Software Engineers to join our highly talented and committed team. Based in the Glasgow area, you will have the option to work from home on most days, provided with all equipment needed to effectively learn and develop. Training, team-working projects, and regular visits to our Glasgow office will be part of the role.
You will work on all aspects of delivering customer projects including discussing requirements, creating designs, implementing technology solutions, completing testing, and supporting customer testing and release processes. Opportunities exist for international and national travel.
You will work with a range of technologies including our own Digital Documents technology, Visual Studio, SQL Server, Kofax TotalAgility, ABBYY Vantage & FlexiCapture, RPA, and many more to deliver a range of intelligent automation solutions.

Responsibilities
- Business and systems analysis.
- Customer communication attending virtual and on-site meetings as needed with video on for remote calls.
- Working with senior developers in discussions with customers during requirements analysis, converting business needs into technical requirements, design and implementations and testing / delivery of high calibre solutions.
- Software development including testing and documentation on a range of technologies including SQL and C# .Net and will be trained to work with all or some of Kofax TotalAgility, Kofax RPA and ABBYY FlexiCapture and Vantage solutions, plus our own Lithe Digital Documents product.
- Using DevOps to record all work, estimate and time spent.
- Following all shared best practice and Lithe development standards.
- Following Lithe ISO standards and procedures and secure development practices as shared during onboarding and at regular intervals.
- Continually update skills by learning new technologies relevant to the role.
Skills & Requirements
You must be self-motivated and able to work well both individually and as part of a team. You must also have a positive “can do” pragmatic attitude to fit into our highly skilled team and have the same passion and drive that we have towards our clients and the solutions we provide for them.
You must have a good understanding of software engineering principals and lifecycles with particular focus on agile methodologies. The ideal candidate will have some programming experience in any language however, C# or SQL is preferred.
The role requires occasional on-site time with customers which will be done in a COVID secure way. Also expectation of being in the Glasgow and Derry offices to meet team members at least once per month in line with our safe COVID working plan.
