Job description

The role involves software development within a team of 80 developers working on our award winning web-based asset management system and associated mobile apps.

Duties include:-

· Develop software in accordance with task specifications and coding standards

· Participate in daily standups and sprint planning/review meetings

· Suggest improvements to design when appropriate

· Perform project-level Integration and System Testing as assigned by the project leader

· Provide contributions to improve the productivity and knowledge of the development department as a whole e.g. new coding techniques, training and reference material

· Prototype new concepts

· Experiment with new technologies prior to implementation

· Aid in diagnosis of software problems reported by users

The Requirement

You must be a competent developer with a computing related degree or significant commercial experience, plus a good understanding of the full software life cycle. Knowledge of Agile, web development, .NET, relational databases, C# or Java will be an advantage.

The Company does not sponsor foreign nationals, so you must have the permanent right to live and work in the UK. You must also be able to commute to our Dunstable, Bedfordshire office at least once a fortnight.
