Graduate Social Research Telephone Interviewer

Graduate Social Research Telephone Interviewer Manchester, England

Kwest Research
Full Time Manchester, England 12.49 - 13.24 GBP HOURLY Today
Job description

Kwest Research is a social research organisation based in Didsbury, Manchester, and as our workload has increased we need to recruit more graduate interviewers. Our recruitment processes are rapid and we aim for new staff to start work within 1-2 weeks of sending us their CVs.

We specialise in consultation within the social housing sector and our clients include many of the most prestigious housing associations and local authorities in the country. We interview their residents by phone to find out what they think about their homes, their neighbourhoods and the services they receive.

The work is pleasant and our interviewers, who are nearly all recent graduates from Manchester University or similar Russell Group universities, value the relaxed and pleasant working environment that exists here.

This work is office based and not home-based.

Interviews range from 2 to 10 minutes in length and around three-quarters of the people we phone will readily participate in an interview. Such high participation rates are possible because interviews are short, and residents like to talk about their homes and neighbourhoods. If you enjoy chatting to people in a relaxed way, then you will enjoy this work.

Full training is provided, and no previous experience is expected or necessary.

This is an ideal job for someone who are looking for an entry level position that provides valuable professional office experience and that enhances future job prospects.

Kwest is a small organisation with 30-40 staff (including interviewers), which does somewhat limit the opportunities for internal advancement. However, our working environment enables our interviewers to develop the key skills that enables them to jump into career positions in larger organisations when they feel it is time to move on - typically after 6-24 months.

Pay is £12.49-£13.24 per hour including holiday pay. This is equivalent to £21,840-£23,500 per year, based upon 37.5 hours per week and 28 days of holiday.

If the job and the working environment appeal to you then please apply quickly to avoid disappointment.
