Graduate Paralegal (with potential opportunity to progress onto Graduate Solicitor Apprenticeship)

We have an exciting opportunity for several Paralegals to join our business on a full-time basis based in the heart of Cheltenham for a fixed period of time.
You will undertake tasks such as:
- Undertaking legal research on behalf of the fee earner
- opening files & conflict checking
- Organising & reviewing documents
- Supporting on document production, preparing paper and electronic bundles
- Responding to client calls
- Diary management and general administration
- Filing and electronic storage of documents
Opportunity to Progress to Graduate Solicitor Apprenticeship
Whilst working as a Paralegal we guarantee you an interview if you decide to apply for a position on our 2024 Graduate Solicitor Apprenticeship programme. If successful, you will undertake three 10-month seat rotations within the business while working towards achieving SQE1 and 2 accreditation. This is a fully funded programme (subject to eligibility), which means you do not have to worry about self-funding your SQE qualification. This route provides the opportunity to also gain valuable qualifying work experience.

Skills & Knowledge
- IT proficient with a comprehensive working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
- Fast and accurate typing skills
- Excellent grammar
- Great attention to detail
- Ability to work as a team and independently as required
- Motivated, well organised, flexible with a can-do attitude
- A natural problem solver
- Ability to deal with competing priorities to meet deadlines and the ability to work under pressure
Qualifications Required
- 2:1 honours or 2:2 degree in law is preferred or
- 2:1 honours degree in a non-law subject with a minimum pass in PGDL/GDL
Please note this opportunity is not suitable for anyone who has completed the LPC.
