Healthcare AssistantDuties:Providing support to an adult with complex care requirements. You will be working 2 to 1 as part of a team.Care includes support with personal care, nutritional support via a PEG, fluid balance monitoring, medication administration, pain management, reassurance.Transfers with hoist and slide sheets.Shifts are mostly 9-10 hours Monday-Friday and 6 hours Saturday and Sunday.Experience:- NVQ 3 essential- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures is a plus- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work well in a team environment- Compassionate and caring attitude- Ability to handle stressful situations with calmness and professionalismIf you are passionate about providing quality care to patients and making a difference in their lives, we would love to hear from you.After initial training for this role you will be covering Annual Leave, Sickness, Respite when more hours will need to be covered.This is an NHS CHC package of care.Job Type: Zero hours contractSalary: £13.95-£18.23 per hourSchedule:10 hour shiftMonday to FridayWeekend availabilityEducation:GCSE or equivalent (preferred)Work authorisation:United Kingdom (required)Work Location: In personReference ID: bank23
