Complementary description
Our Safran UK site, in Pitstone Buckinghamshire, is the Electrical and Power ‘Centre of Excellence' for all commercial and military aircraft, power generation and motor system applications. Twinned with our sites in France and the USA, we specialise in mechanical and electromechanical systems design, development and testing, encompass both oil and air cooled technologies. Additionally, our state-of-the-art Smart Products, ‘ENGINeUS' and ‘GENeUS', are leading the electric propulsion market of the future.
We recognise that aviation needs to innovate and change in order to protect our environment. We truly believe that future aircraft power systems will be hybrid-electric or full-electric, which is why we are working to develop and deliver advanced electrical solutions to help decarbonise flight. In addition to supporting the next generation of traditional aircraft, we are also working to support new VTol (Vertical Take-off and landing) products, light jets and urban mobility solutions that will revolutionise the way we fly.
Our Grad Scheme gives you the chance to be embedded within our Engineering department and to work hands on across different projects throughout your time, normally on a 4 to 6 month rotational basis.
