23andMe is looking for an amazing Amazon/eCommerce Manager with solid Seller Central experience to join our growing gene pool!

The ideal candidate is an eCommerce expert with solid channel and partner management experience. You will have an entrepreneurial spirit and will support the next growth phase of our eCommerce strategy and vision. You are a motivated, organized, and results-driven marketer who stays current with online shopping trends.

This role will report to the Director, International Marketing and eCommerce Marketplaces.

What You'll Do

  • Develop strategy for Amazon channel and campaigns, including US and international programs
  • Manage day-to-day operations of channel
  • Support business objectives to drive sales and ROI while managing program responsibly within budget
  • Optimize product listings and brand stores to educate customers and drive conversion, including partnering with Brand and Design teams on content development
  • Collaborate with Design and Advertising & Media teams on strategy, execution, and optimization of Amazon Advertising campaigns
  • Develop relationships with the Amazon teams to further understand new initiatives and opportunities within the Amazon organization
  • Ensure operational excellence with Amazon and communicate with stakeholders about account health (supply, forecasting, content, product pages, customer feedback)
  • Work with Supply Chain and Business Operations on inventory management strategy and forecasts
  • Develop data-driven framework to assess and drive business
  • Plan and execute successful sales events and advertising campaigns that drive awareness, sales, and referrals
  • Monitor and assess competitive landscape, including promotions and new products within category, understand and proactively share where category and marketplace are heading
  • Understand and become expert in the Amazon shopper and shopping behavior, including partnering with the Consumer Insights and Analytics teams, to inform initiatives across channels
  • Explore and evaluate viability of new product launches and marketplace exclusive product variations
  • Address and mitigate technical issues on platform

What You'll Bring

  • Minimum of 4 years of direct experience executing and managing Amazon Seller/Vendor Central accounts
  • Experience in media planning and strategy
  • Experience in promotional planning
  • Analytical thinker with a firm understanding of product detail page optimization
  • Familiarity with Amazon third party monitoring tools
  • Familiarity with Amazon Seller/Vendor Central business reports
  • Familiarity with Amazon Payments reports for accounting reconciliation
  • Strong interpersonal, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter, reliable team player with strong initiative and the ability to thrive in high-intensity, rapidly changing environment
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills working with a variety of stakeholders at different levels across various departments
  • Ability to work from 23andMe's office in Sunnyvale, CA a minimum of 2 days per week
  • Deep understanding of direct-to-consumer health and wellness category, DNA testing category, and/or subscription services are strong pluses

Pay Transparency

23andMe takes a market-based approach to pay, and amounts will vary depending on your geographic location. The salary range reflected here is for a candidate based in the San Francisco Bay Area. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
