Due to recent expansion we are seeking a Graduate Investment Analyst to join our Transactions Department on a permanent basis. This is a hybrid role based on working 2 days a week from our Manchester headquarters or London office. Salary from £30,000 depending on experience.

In this role you will contribute to the company’s business objectives by supporting the Transactions team to drive expansion of the group into new markets, with a particular focus on water and net zero energy infrastructure. You will also contribute towards business growth by supporting complimentary M&A activity and organic business growth and execution thereof.

The successful candidate will be Delivering financial analysis and preparation of presentations in support of senior Transactions team members, and also support in the development and implementation of business growth plans following acquisition or organic development using existing group infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting origination, due diligence, execution of M&A and organic business growth activity across the group. This will involve reviewing of IMs and due diligence materials, conducting financial modelling (training and support will be provided) and scenario analysis.
  • Support senior Transactions team members in tracking and project managing commercial tenders.
  • Supporting the development of new commercial propositions on behalf of group portfolio companies from conception through to development and execution.
  • Supporting the Transactions team with group operational reporting requirements.
  • Working efficiently and closely with the Commercial, Operations, Legal and Finance teams to secure and deliver new business contracts.
  • Preparing investment committee papers.


The Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent.
  • University graduate or <1-years experience in banking, finance, advisory, consultancy, law or comparable industry role.
  • Computer literate with ability to operate Microsoft Office and email.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility in order to adapt to the changing needs of the business.
  • Strong willingness to learn.
