37 hours per week, fixed term contract until 31 August 2024
Our graduate intern role is aimed at recent graduates who have the aspiration to become teachers or work in an educational environment. The role provides a range of experiences including; assisting small groups of students who require additional support due to their SEN or behavioural needs, covering lessons and contributing to the extra-curricular programme the academy provides. As a graduate intern you will be supported through a mentor programme to develop a career in education. The post holder will also challenge and support students, help with organisational and study skills and provide homework and revision sessions.
The graduate intern, behaviour support role also includes helping to reduce the number of students receiving suspensions, and assisting those being isolated, by providing emotional support for students with difficulties.
