Our Growth, Innovation and Digital team in the UK and Ireland is seeking a Graduate Innovation Consultant who will be part of a highly competent and passionate team helping our customers in the energy industry to prepare for the future.

As part of an initiative to accelerate this process, our team leads innovation projects with customers with a specific focus on creating new business models through cutting-edge activities such as digital twins an artificial intelligence. We are seeking to grow our capability to deliver larger and more complex projects with customers in this space and by working in this team you will help to drive the growth of our innovation project portfolio.

As a Graduate Innovation Consultant, you’ll join a growing team of creative big thinkers who love finding innovative solutions to the energy industry’s most challenging problems. Based from either our London, Glasgow or Bristol office, you’ll be given real responsibility from day one, collaborating with forward-thinking customers and technical experts across our business to deliver projects, helping deliver career and industry-defining projects. You will be given the time to build your network, the resources to support your development, and the freedom to satisfy your curiosity and desire to learn.

Our role is an exciting and varied one, giving you opportunity to:
  • Owning the development of specific project deliverables, which help our customers achieve their strategic energy systems digitalization goals whilst supporting the management of innovation projects with internal and external customers
  • Determining the scope of projects via consultation and investigation whilst analyzing the strengths, weaknesses, and risks of existing project plans, as well as recommending improvements.
  • Supporting proposal activities to support the development of new business
  • Allocating personnel and resources to project tasks and collaborating across departments to set realistic project targets and timeframes.
  • Actively engage with clients to understand their challenges as they seek to make the Energy industry safer and more sustainable, with a special focus on digitalization and energy transition challenges.
  • Have the opportunity to work with other discipline teams across DNV to see how we are working together to solve some of the energy industry’s biggest problems.
You’ll be stretched but always supported, so don’t worry if the Energy industry or some of the terminology is currently unfamiliar to you, we’ll teach you all you need to know. Upon joining, you’ll receive a buddy to help you settle in, a mentor to enhance your technical knowledge, as well as ongoing on-the-job coaching and support from your colleagues.

Position Qualifications:
What will you bring?

  • Our team typically bring an Engineering or Computer Science related degree - but we would also potentially welcome applicants from other similar scientific, mathematical or analytical disciplines
