About the programme
Our Generalist Rotational Programme will allow you to explore the different dimensions of National Highways. You will rotate in placements across the business, gaining a multifaceted experience in areas including customer, transformation, strategy and communications. The projects and responsibilities you take on will build your experience and knowledge and allow you to have exposure to a wide array of information and stakeholders.
Within this post, you will be involved in developing our strategy, supporting our future planning, and managing relationships with internal and external bodies. You will learn how we support our customers and be able to feed in new and innovative ideas to the team. We are looking for someone with a passion to learn and grow within this role.

Our Generalist Graduate programme offers:
· mentoring from senior managers to provide support, guidance and career development planning while on the programme and beyond
· a dedicated line manager to provide you with encouragement, direction and career planning support to steer you into a permanent role with us at the end of your programme
· opportunities to move your career to the next level after successful completion of the programme
About you
We’re looking for graduates from any discipline who want to grow their career at National Highways.
You will have:
· at least a 2:2 degree in any subject
· a minimum of a Grade C / Grade 4 in Mathematics AND English Language at GCSE
· good team player with an enthusiasm and passion to succeed
· confident, influential communicator and good listener
· exceptional coordinator
· proactive personality who meets deadlines and prioritises where necessary
· clear and concise writer, able to effectively distil complex and detailed topics
