24 month Graduate Scheme placement – Digital Manufacturing Engineer (Graduate)

So what will you be doing? Kimberly-Clark is an innovative business looking for a talented, technically gifted Digital Manufacturing Engineer to join our two-year programme based out of Flint, North Wales.
You will be working across our Digital manufacturing network that underpins operations such as Production Processes, Maintenance, Engineering, IT and Logistics. In addition, the two-year scheme will see the successful applicant undertake either one six month or two three-month placements across several key disciplines, in different UK and/or European locations.
During your Graduate programme, you will get to experience working with our well-known and loved household brands such as Kleenex®, Scott®, Andrex® and Huggies®.
What You’ll Receive
We will look to provide you with real responsibility, cross-functional projects, senior-level visibility, formal technical training, softer skills courses and a real impact on important FMCG products.
Across the placements you will develop skills that range across the following areas:
Apply fundamental engineering concepts to technical problem solving and project work.
Source and use data to identify opportunities for improvement, leading to the scoping out and delivery of projects, and creating documented standards to help drive sustainable manufacturing improvements.
Identification and the delivery of improvement projects on site related to quality, yield, energy and equipment effectiveness (improving machine speed, waste and uptime) to enable global benchmarking.
Lean Six Sigma (Yellow Belt) and continuous improvement methodologies and tools.
At Kimberly-Clark, we make sure each graduate has a comprehensive support network. In addition, we look to allocate a buddy within each facility to each graduate in their first year. You will also be supported by a senior mentor for the duration of the programme.
In addition to specific technical training, you will also complete a Professional Development Training Programme (PDP) that will cover presentation skills, influencing skills, personal effectiveness, and business acumen. There will also be an opportunity to discuss support throughout your Initial Professional Development in the engineering council (IPD) if required.

Degree Requirements
You should have completed your technical degree in a relevant engineering discipline and would have been awarded at least a 2:1 or a merit.
