We are looking for an ambitious Data Analyst to join our team. We welcome STEM graduates and/or those with 2+ years of data analyst experience to apply for this role.

Your skills and experience
Responsibilities:
- Collect and analyse data to identify patterns and trends
- Create clear and concise reports to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Work with stakeholders to understand their requirements and develop solutions to meet their needs.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and make recommendations for changes.
- Use data analysis to identify opportunities for process automation and make recommendations for changes.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement automated workflows using tools such as Microsoft Power Automate.
- Test and troubleshoot automated processes to ensure they are working correctly and efficiently.
- Monitor and maintain automated processes to ensure they continue to meet the needs of the business.
- Document processes and workflows to facilitate knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Experienced in successfully delivering projects to deadlines.
- Confident in using own initiative to solve problems.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent team working, collaboration and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Have (or be predicted to achieve) at least a 2:1 degree in a STEM subject (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) subject or 2+ years related work experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for macros and advanced formulas e.g. XLOOKUP, INDEX, MATCH, IF, nested formulas
- Knowledge of statistical analysis methods and experience with statistical software such as SPSS, R, or SAS.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
- Experience working with large datasets and managing data quality.
Preferences
- Experience in the higher education sector is a plus
- Familiarity with SQL programming language
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
