DESCRIPTION
Our client are one of the fastest growing insurers in the UK, a Norwegian based company who expanded to the UK in 2015 and have grown rapidly in the last 7 years. With rapid growth comes great opportunity for the right people. Therefore, we are looking to recruit highly motivated graduates to join their team as a Claims Handler to work at their head office in Manchester.
This really is a unique and incredibly exciting opportunity not to be missed! Prior insurance experience is not necessary as this role will enable you to very quickly develop and expand your understanding of the claims process and subsequently your technical capability. As well as gaining 'on the job' experience from day one, you will also be supported via internal and external training.
To be considered for this exciting and challenging role, candidates must want to work in a fast paced environment where open and direct communication is part of the culture. Your learning capacity will be challenged continuously, and you will develop unique relationships both internally and externally with our clients and brokers.
With a strong academic background, this role will 100% suit a graduate calibre (or equivalent) candidate looking to enter a career in Insurance. The claims arena is a fantastic place to learn how insurance is arranged, brokered and the role of insurers of not only handling claims but working with clients to reduce risk.
You will be presented with a broad range of challenging and exciting tasks as part of your role. You will ultimately be delivering a quality service to all insurance brokers and clients at the 'moment of truth' - this will be achieved through best in class decision making and being bold to find innovative solutions to complex challenges. The ability to communicate well and manage expectations is imperative. As part of the role, you will be client facing where you will live our client's DNA through building unique relationships. Working effectively with most internal teams including Underwriting and Risk Management will be required to deliver cost of quality leadership.
This is quite simply an excellent opportunity for a candidate to enter a career in Claims. By doing so this will provide you with the opportunity to become technically competent and work hard to provide innovative solutions to complex challenges. Strong IT knowledge will be required, in particular Microsoft Office.
