GP Assistant
Heathbridge Practice is looking for a full time GP assistant to provide support to our rapidly expanding clinical team.
Responsibilities:
Manage incoming queries on our online messaging platform and help the GP team triage all requests (admin & clinical).
Respond to online triage requests and help allocate queries to the different teams.
Manage NHS checks and arrange follow ups as necessary.
Arranging referral letters, test requests and fitness to work certificates for patients on instruction by the medical team.
Supporting our admin team with coding and referrals.
Participating in practice meetings
Undertaking other non-clinical and clinical workstreams
Who are we looking for?
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as an HCA or in another clinical healthcare role.
- Experience in Primary (preferable) care
- A friendly and conscientious person who enjoys working in teams
- The candidate should be be keen at reviewing the delivery of services in the practice and suggest improvements to managers when necessary
- Experience with EMIS Web is preferable but not essential

Part-time hours: 37.5 per week
Salary: £15-17.50/hr
NHS Pension scheme enrollment offered
