Macdonald Cardrona Hotel, Golf & Spa is seeking an individual with excellent customer service skills who enjoys working with the public.
Please note the candidate must have an interest in golf and have some play or work-related golf experience.
The main responsibilities of the role will be (but not limited to) -
- Opening and closing the golf shop
- Collecting fees for golf and related products
- Scheduling tee times
- Stock control
- Administration duties and assisting with the arranging and booking of golf events
- Selling on course refreshments to golfers
- To provide a friendly, welcoming and professional service to all guests, members and visitors arriving at the Clubhouse
- To maintain excellent product knowledge of the Golf Operation in order to provide accurate and detailed information to guests and members and pro-actively up-sell at every opportunity.
- To be familiar with Pro Shop merchandise, buggy hire charges, course conditions and green fees
- To display excellent communication skills with guests, members and team members at all levels whilst maintaining a level of professionalism at all times.
- To ensure a 5 star standard is delivered.
- To assist guests and members with any queries or special requests
The Pro Shop is open 7 days a week The selected candidate must have good communication skills; an upbeat and cheerful “can do” nature and the ability to provide a friendly and courteous service.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: £10.50 per hour
