Operations Manager - GNFR
£45,000 - £55,000 plus excellent benefits (Work Level 5)

12-month FTC/Secondment

We’re looking for an inspiring operations manager to join Co-op’s source-to-pay leadership team in Manchester. In this role, we’ll need you to coach and motivate teams across GNFR (goods not for resale) to provide a high level of support to the business. To give you an idea of how this operations manager role will look and feel, here are some of the things you can expect to do:
- manage activity across various teams covering various activities including; operational procurement, colleague expenses, managing our supplier master data, capital construction ordering & Coupa Support
- take on line management responsibility for seven direct reports
- provide indirect line management to around 25 colleagues
- act as the point of contact for any enquiries and escalations for the team
- manage a range of stakeholders across the business and build meaningful relationships
To apply for this operations manager role, you’ll need experience of managing and inspiring colleagues and supporting teams through change. You’ll also require the following:
- great communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships with stakeholders at different levels of the business
- previous procurement or source-to-pay experience
- experience of working with systems such as Coupa or SAP or equivalent
