GMP Production Operatives (Days) - Packing& Mixing Dalton, Yorkshire and the Humber, England
Job description
An exciting opportunity for a number of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Production Operatives within our Manufacturing and Packaging process to join our team in our Veterinary Medicines (Pharmaceutical) Production Unit. Previous experience working in a production environment is preferred but not required, but proficiency with our company's operating systems, attention to detail and an ability to follow instructions well is required. Full training on internal systems and processes will be provided.
Activities will include:
Participate in all aspects of manufacturing/packaging process operations. Weighing, packing and labelling of finished goods ready for dispatch.
Carrying out a variety of physical Manual Handling tasks as instructed, lifting equipment and products from 5kg up to 20kg.
Ensuring excellent Good Manufacturing Practices are followed through maintaining a Safe, Healthy, Compliant and Hygienic work place.
Taking responsibility for the area that you work in and the plant in general, this includes good housekeeping.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Functional skills in English (fluent) and Maths.
Excellent communications skills, verbal and written, with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to work well within a team environment and also Self-motivated and uses initiative.
Ability to work accurately and methodically.
Responsible for complying with GMP/VMD/MHRA Regulations and ability to adhere to strictest levels of hygiene.
Responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of the product run on the lines based on specifications.
Essential Criteria:
Excellent attention to detail and accurate in data recording.
Ability to follow written instructions.
Willingness to be flexible to meet the demands of the job.
Effective team working.
Willingness to learn and work to Standard Operating Procedure's (SOPs) as you become part of a highly specialised team.
