JOB TITLE: GMP Production Cleaner

JOB TYPE: Part-Time (Monday to Friday 4.00am to 8.00am inclusive, 4-hour shifts totalling 20 hours per week)

PAY: £12.84 per hour


Job Introduction

We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking individual to join our friendly team working in GMP manufacturing environments. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all designated areas as directed using appropriate equipment and/or materials as supplied.


  • Primary Responsibilities – Mopping/wiping walls floors and surfaces, emptying of litter bins, cleaning of equipment as required to keep a high audit standard at all times. Working conditions are normal for a GMP manufacturing facility.


Role Responsibility
:

  • Produce GDP Compliant reports and documentation.
  • Maintain the highest standard of cleanliness within assigned areas by ensuring that the relevant work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs) are followed.
  • To ensure accurate completion of area logbooks as required by SOPs.
  • Ensure regular checks of the equipment and machines used during the working day. Any faults/defects to be reported to GMP Cleaning Team Leader.
  • Participate in the Health and Safety Policy of the Company and report any dangers or hazards to GMP Cleaning Team Leader.
  • To attend training sessions appertaining to post.
  • Carry out any duties as required by the GMP Cleaning Team Leader.
  • To liaise on a daily basis with other members of the cleaning team, and customers.
  • All employees are required to, and are responsible for adhering to Quality, Compliance and Environmental, Health and Safety regulations and Micronclean procedures applicable to their role. Training will be provided to ensure that the procedures are understood, and responsibilities are defined.


The Ideal Candidate:


Essential:


  • Must have a good level of written and spoken English.
  • General good health.
  • Reasonable standard of fitness as job holder on feet for most of the day.
  • Prepared to wear full uniform at all times.
  • Prepared to work to strict timelines in isolated areas and follow stringent dress codes relevant to GMP.
  • Prepared to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as directed by Line Manager and in accordance with the working instructions / procedures.
  • Good standard of IT literacy – Microsoft Office
  • Be able to attend GMP training sessions on site during weekday hours, as specified by the customer, prior to commencing the 04:00 – 08:00 shift pattern.

  • Experience within a similar industry.
  • Team worker with a flexible approach.
  • An understanding of GMP and quality systems.
  • Good communication skills
