GLOBAL SUPPORT TECHNICAL ADMINISTRATOR (M/F/D)
About the position
The Global Support Technical Administrator is responsible for supporting the team in providing excellent standards of maintenance to our customers.
Tasks and responsibilities involved are…

Manage the PSI Metals licence database including
- reactive and proactive licence generation
- licence entitlement certification management
- customer software release tracking
- contribute towards the continuous improvement of the database design and functionality
- Generate the customer monthly reports needed to manage the time keeping, billing and reporting of the Global Support team’s work.
- Co-ordinate the On Call Duty rota ensuring the smooth provision of technical out of hours support and manage billing.
- Manage the annual customer satisfaction survey including collecting, analyzing and presenting results.
- Keep Global Support intranet pages and powerpoint templates updated
Job Requirements
Essential skills...
- IT literacy, especially experience using MS Excel and other Office tools (Outlook, Word etc.)
- Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Self-motivated, ability to work independently and to become a trusted team member
- Being proactive and reliable are key to being successful
- Ability to co-ordinate colleagues, be persistent and leave no ‘loose ends’
- Customer-focused mind-set
- Willingness to learn
Additional bonus skills...
- Understanding of database design, software development, programming e,g, PL/SQL
- Experience with JIRA &/or Zoho
- Experience with digital self-services based on AppStores and Portals
- Knowledge or experience in the metals industry / supply chain management / production planning and manufacturing execution systems
- German or other languages
- Availability to travel occasionally
