Overview
Reporting to the Global Brand Marketing Manager, the Global Marketing Assistant will sit within the global marketing team at Stella McCartney which is responsible for all marketing initiatives across the brand, worldwide. They will be responsible for supporting the Global Brand Marketing Manager and Marketing Director in driving marketing initiatives across all categories of the business. This includes – but is not limited to – assisting with the organisation and execution of global marketing initiatives, research and development for future projects, as well as helping to distribute marketing and communication materials.
Your Mission
- Working closely with the Brand Marketing Manager, assist with the strategy and the implementation of a variety of marketing projects ensuring efficient cross-channel alignment and successful project delivery.
- Support with the development of go-to-market tools for seasonal campaigns, product launches, and tactical marketing initiatives.
- Ownership – under the supervision of the Brand Marketing Manager - of Creative briefs process; ensuring the Creative Services team is aware of seasonal marketing needs and following up on each brief to ensure the required materials are delivered within specified deadlines.
- Responsible for maintaining key departmental documents, ensuring effective weekly updates and communication with relevant stakeholders on a regular basis.
- Help in compiling competitive analysis, Innovation, industry updates weekly for future and or planned marketing initiatives or event opportunities.
- Assisting on post-campaign project reports, extracting insights and learnings to be applied towards future activities.
- Support the team on any tasks needed and being perceptive and proactive to aid in peak times.
Your Talent
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Experience prioritising tasks, managing deadlines, adapting to rapidly changing priorities and plans.
- Thrives on the demands of a busy environment with enthusiasm, high energy and determination to succeed.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interface regularly with internal and external stakeholders.
- Attentive to details and highly reliable.
- Resourceful and seeks opportunity to be innovative.
- Ability to bring a positive attitude and logical approach to problem solving.
Systems and Essentials
- Computer literate, including excellent knowledge of Microsoft packages (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
- InDesign and Photoshop are beneficial but not essential
