The PMO Assistant Manager is responsible for providing project related and ongoing operational talent support to the GFA COO and Talent Leader and where required, support will also be provided to the wider GFA team, including GFA Executive leaders. An element of diary and events management is also required.
The role includes:
- Operational support including preparing presentations, drafting communications, maintaining distribution lists and control schedules, resolving and responding to queries
- Leading and managing the onboarding process for new joiners
- Planning and organising virtual and in person team meetings, including liaising with Global Programmes when required and supporting meeting governance and compliance
- Provide support for ad hoc projects on an as needed basis, including taking ownership where appropriate
- Managing the COO’s calendar on a daily basis, coordinating Global related meetings and appointments, address conflicts or other calendar issues in a timely manner
- Coordinating ad hoc travel arrangements for the COO and Talent Leader
- Working closely with our GFA team and senior stakeholders

- Excellent written & spoken English
- Proficient in use of IT systems generally and confident in adapting to new and complex IT systems as new and innovative ways of working arise regularly at Deloitte
- Proficient in use of MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook
- Relevant experience in a similar role preferably within a professional environment
- Excellent organizational skills and able to use own initiative, organize global meetings and work alongside Global Programs or equivalent teams
- A positive attitude with the willingness to provide the highest level of internal and external client service
- Ability to constantly exercise confidentiality, discretion and personal sensitivity in all aspects of the role
- Ability to establish rapport with team
- A willingness to own/solve problems as they arise, but also have the ability to identify issues for referral
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, internally and externally; written and spoken
- Adaptable and keen to take a flexible approach to work

Personal independence
Regulation and controls are standard practice in our industry and Deloitte is no exception. These controls provide important legal protection for both you and the firm. We are subject to a number of audit regulations, one of which requires that certain colleagues abide by specific personal independence constraints.
