This is an opportunity to join a friendly team of highly skilled and experienced glassmakers and designers. On a day-to-day basis, you will be helping to manufacture bespoke glass designs for very high-end commercial projects, primarily within the residential, hospitality and super yacht sectors in the UK and abroad.
SALARY & BENEFITS: Starting salary of £21,000 – £25,000 per annum, dependent upon experience + pension contribution. 20 Days holiday per year, increasing by 1 day every two years, up to 25 days.

WORKING HOURS: Monday – Friday, 8 – 5pm but must be able to work flexible hours – time off in lieu is given.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE: University degree related to glass making/processing and preferably to postgraduate level – or equivalent experience at a commercial glass studio/works involved in any of the following:
- Sandblasting / Etching
- Fusing
- Casting
- Laminating
- Kiln forming
- Painting
- Silvering
- Polishing
- Brilliant Cutting

Daedalian Glass Studios are situated in a rural setting three miles from the busy market town of Poulton-le-Fylde Lancashire, 30 minutes from Lancaster 2.5 hours from London via the West Coast Line and good local bus services. We are approximately 1.5 hours from Manchester, Liverpool, the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District National Parks.
